I was watching hgtv – about the only craft show they have left “that’s clever” anyways this lady made this orange wrap and it just looked cool and I thought that would so work for water!
all it is is layers of plasic wrap – lay down a layer and spead some paint (in my case some pretty blue and turq. lumiere paints) lay down another with more paint and bit of sparkle (in my case extra fine glitter) and just keep layering till you are happy – I did about 8-9 layers. Then take a non stick sheet and use your iron to fuse the only thing together – alum. foil DOES not work for this but parchment paper or one of those non stick craft sheets work great.
Then I cheated and used rub ons for the fish and more lumiere paints for the floor and seaweed.
on hgtv – she cut her sheet into a thousand circles and sewed them back togeather to make her wrap. so there is a lot that you could do with this.

Love that technique. I tried ironing plastic shopping bags together and it worked but it wasn’t very pretty like yours.
